今年酷暑！從七月初開始的Uswing Mojing JWC在美國聖地牙哥就打響了暑假業餘高爾夫的賽事盛事，七月中的歐洲業餘錦標賽到這週的U.S. Amateur Championship！都在這滿滿的日照下，冠軍一一產生。
這股熱潮在這幾年也延燒到台灣！從上週的三花築夢盃，這週的台灣青少年公開賽，下週的新南向台灣青少年高爾夫錦標賽，再一直延伸到未來之星系列賽的秋季錦標賽，形成一個『Taiwan Summber Swing』，每場賽事的意義跟強度都不盡相同，也都不斷在升級，希望能為台灣青少年選手爭取更多的名額跟積分，慢慢地成爲重要的跳板也與世界級的國際賽事接軌！
除了賽事升級，協會也不斷地在思考怎樣的協會及比賽，除了計分卡上的數字外，有更多的觀念跟資源可以讓選手事半功倍，讓每一桿練習有效，讓每一回合的桿數有意義！

This summer has been an exciting season for amateur golf around the world.The action began in early July with the Uswing Mojing Junior World Championship in San Diego, USA. It continued through the European Amateur Championship in mid-July and has now reached this week’s U.S. Amateur Championship. Under the summer sun, champions have continued to emerge from some of the world’s most prestigious amateur events.
Over the past few years, this excitement has also spread to Taiwan. Beginning with last week’s Sanhua Dream Cup, followed by this week’s Taiwan Junior Open, next week’s New Southbound Taiwan Junior Golf Championship, and continuing into the Future Star Series – Autumn Championship, Shaping the Taiwan Summer Swing. Each tournament has its own purpose, level of competition, and unique value. Together, they are constantly evolving, striving to provide Taiwan’s young golfers with more international opportunities, valuable World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points, and pathways to compete alongside the world’s best.
Beyond improving the tournaments themselves, our association continues to ask an important question: What kind of organization and what kind of tournaments can truly help young athletes grow?
We believe golf is about far more than the numbers written on a scorecard. By providing better education, resources, and support, we hope every practice session becomes more effective, every shot has a purpose, and every round contributes to a player’s long-term development.
